A virus might corrupt or delete data and files on your computer, use your e-mail program to spread itself to other computers through your email list, or even erase everything on your hard drive causing you to lose everything.

When the Norton 360 program came out, the concept was conceived that security for the personal computer and the user was initially the first and foremost priority to the creators.
